Reverend Ethan L. Maple joined the ministry team of Old Bethel UMC in the summer of 2007.  He has been under appointment by the bishop since 2000, serving in both the Shelbyville, IN and Corydon, IN areas while attending school.  Pastor Ethan has a bachelor's degree from the University of Indianapolis and a Master's of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.  At Old Bethel UMC his main focus is off-site ministries, but will also serve in a number of other ministry areas within the church. 

 

Ethan has been married to Crystal since October of 2003.  They have two sons; Noah was born July 2005 and Andrew was born November 2007.  The Maples enjoy being in ministry together for and with Jesus Christ, believing and teaching that in God anything is possible.
