Missions

The chief role of the Risk-Taking Missions Team at Old Bethel is to be responsive to local, national and international needs and programs deserving the support of the church. This is accomplished by searching out and continually making known to church members, the needs and opportunities that exist outside the local church.

Whether by donation or active participation, members of the Missions Team seek to respond to Christ’s teaching to “go...make disciples”, “preach the good news”, “feed my lambs”, and “take care of my sheep”, through support of the programs listed on the right.  Resources to support these projects are received through special offerings at Advent and Lent, by Centurion Cup and Faith Promise giving, special appeals and donations, and by pennies placed in the offering plates.

Christ asked Peter if he loved Him. He told him how to respond if he did. Supporters of missions show their love for Jesus Christ by their obedient response.

We would love to have you aboard the Mission's Team at Old Bethel.  Whether you are interested in supporting missions financially or lending your physical well-being to the next mission trip, contact Ric Gasaway via email or through the church office, 317-359-9651.
