Lynda Preston has been a member of Old Bethel since 2003. She grew up in Litchfield, Illinois where she was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. She holds degrees in Visual Communication from IVY Tech State College and History/Political Science from Culver-Stockton College. She is the mother of grade school age twins. In her “free” time she enjoys all types of hand-crafts, hiking, and reading historical fiction.
Lynda has worked as Executive Secretary at Old Bethel since January of 2007. Besides performing her duties as a staff member, she is a member of United Methodist Women, Chairperson of The Gathering and serves Children's Ministy during VBS and in the nursery during Sunday worship.
