Preschool FAQ


Preschoolers desire a learning environment where they can thrive and grow. Our classroom environments are set up to facilitate development of skills while exploring your child's interests. Our teachers coach and observe while providing security and comfort. Here are some answers to questions you may have about daycare at Old Bethel. Q: Who may enroll in Preschool?
A: Children aged 2-5 years as of September 1, 2020.

Q: What are the hours of Preschool?
A: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Q: Will you accept part-time students?
A: Yes. Students may attend Preschool full or part time.

Q: Will you serve lunch?
A: No. Students need to bring a sack lunch with drink. A refrigerator is available for perishable food. 

Q: What will the children do during the day?
A: The daily activities will include art projects, interactive story time, large muscle time on a safe, fully fenced playground, music movement activities, free play, lunch, and snack.

Q: How will fees be paid?
A: Preschool payments are due by the 3rd calendar day of the month. Payment may be make via check, money order or cash.

Q: Does Old Bethel Preschool accept CCDF?
A: CCDF is welcome for families working through Family and Social Services Administration and/or the Children's Bureau, Inc.

Q: Do you offer after school care?

A: Yes. We have an after school program for our All Day Preschool class until 5pm.

Q: Do you offer any extra care after the half day preschool?

A: Yes. We have Lunch Bunch that goes until 2pm. Your child must pack their own sack lunch. Lunch is not provided by Old Bethel Preschool
