Sisters and Brothers, I have Good News! God is still in control, your church remains strong, and you and I are still here to make a positive difference! Now, I could add considerably to this list, (as could you, I’m certain), but the best news is, despite the continuing Covid-19 reality, we still can bless others in our daily living. You can make a difference for Christ! And if you can do ANYTHING to bless ANYONE in the name of Jesus, then DO IT!
1 Peter 4:10-11 says, God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God Himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen. (NLT2)
Did you read anything in that section of Scripture that says, “If you have a gift from God…?” Nope. If Jesus is your Savor and Lord, YOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE GIFT from God. His Word says so. Did you read in that Scripture that “Since you have a gift from God, you should not use it…?” Nope. If God gives you ANY gift (which He has) you must USE IT! (“Use them well to serve one another.”)
So…as my kids will text me, “So, whatcha doin’?” Has The Holy Spirit been tapping you on your shoulder (or bugging your consciousness) that there is blessing going un-shared in your life? Can you smile? Can you use the phone? Can you send an email? Can you pray? Can you send or share a meal? Can give someone a ride? Can you remind people that they matter to both God and you?
I hear so many stories of you all being blessed and that means so many of you are intentionally going out of your way to bless your sisters and brothers in Christ. THANK YOU for sharing the light and love of Jesus Christ! Keep it up! Encourage others to do it too! Love people well and inspire the rest of us.
Do your best at loving Jesus and He will do some of His best work through you!

1. Virtual Worship continues to grow! If you’re not already part of what God is doing through this season of worship, come join us! You may be amazed at how God is reaching new and not-new folks.
2. Because of the continuing changing landscape from the Indianapolis Mayor’s office, we do not yet have a date for beginning in-worship again. However, rest assured, it is already being carefully planned to maximize everyone’s safety. While we all want to get back to in-person worship, we WILL NOT HURRY the process to allow us to be thorough and thoughtful at every step. We will also widely advertise it, so you won’t miss the date. And don’t forget, our plan is to not only continue but expand virtual worship—even after we come back together. So, everyone will have a “safe zone” of participation.
